A Short History

The Holy cross sisters arrived at Mira Road in the year 1990. In the early eighties Mira Road was a water-logged marshy land. The development started when the eagle’s eyes of the builders fell on this land and the construction began at a full swing. People from Mumbai and from other places started migrating to Mira Road. There was a desperate need for an English medium school in Mira Road as it was a growing township. The Holy Cross Convent school was inaugurated and Blessed by Rt. Rev.Bhisop Dr. Thomas Dabre on 14th June 1992.
